Writing For Me Is Like...

November 9, 2007

I've got deadlines today, so I'll leave this up to you. Yesterday Joe Moore said:

"Writing for me is like the split second you lean back in a chair and realize the wall is further away than you thought."

I loved that.

My offering:

"Writing for me is like a beneficial addiction."

Go ahead, give it a shot.

Cheers,

Mark Terry

I LOVED what Joe said yesterday. Mine is quite boring, but honest: Writing for me is like doing what I'm supposed to be doing.

I think it was Toni Morrison who said, I write because it sure beats dealing with real life.

Whomever said that, it pretty much sums it up for me.

Also, writing is my drug of choice - which is kinda similar to what Mark said.
