4091 more words of fiction than I've written in that time.
Fellow I know via the Internet did the NaMo thing two years ago. He started late. Managed 50,000 words in 3 days. Frankly, I did not volunteer to read them!
I'm not trying to write a novel, though. I'm trying to get about 20 more pages done.
It is kind of interesting to keep track, because I used to do it by pages--tried to get 5 pages done per day, which I think works well for me. Lately I've been, well, dicking around for a variety of reasons. So this sort of motivates me to get it in gear.
Wow, 50,000 in 3 days! Did he sleep? The muse gifts me with a 12,000 word day once in a great while. Sometimes the story comes so fast, I have to write fast before I forget it. Fast doesn't always mean bad; it's some people's process. :-)
Congrats, Mark! I've written around that, but on the wrong project. I'm a bit behind. Hopefully I'll have more than three days on my nano project, though!
