I've actually heard Parnell sing this live. Not only is he a charming guy, he's a find writer and for light, humorous cozies you can't do much better than his Puzzle Lady books. And really, this song just soooooo nails it.

Oh yeah. The song is incredible and incredibly enough I actually heard him perform it live. I was at Deadly Ink when he did it. A classic.

When I saw him sing it he was on a panel and somebody asked him to do it. I get the feeling he can't do a con without being forced to sing it.
