Freelance Writing's Annoyance

It's starting to feel like a conspiracy.
One client sent me a check for $100 instead of $150.
I get back from Disney to find a check for $400 from another client that was supposed to be $4000--and they even sent a copy with the invoice with the correct breakdown.
And I also had to follow-up on another client that's a slow-pay and they lost the invoice I sent them.
Sheesh!

It's amazing to me how *confused* people with college educations, people who are successful at their jobs, can get at simple invoices. It's freakin' brain surgery, I tell you.
