He's also got a lot more room on his neck than you do. That makes your fingerings more difficult unless you have very small hands. (One of the reasons I gave up guitar and moved to a typewriter)
B. Nagel, You're sharp. Yes, my Kay, even by the standards of acoustic guitars, has a narrow neck and my fingers are large. This guy has a classical guitar, which typically has a wider neck, but even by the standards of classical guitars it seems to have a wider neck than many.
My former teacher had commented before to me that I might consider buying a classical guitar just because of the size of my hands--large. Alternately, he did say it made me work harder, which would be useful in the long run.
I thought at first that it was a twelve string "Spanish" classical guitar, but I didn't see or hear the octave strings. Music, like writing, is based on a lot of work, sweat and calluses. It looks like you've got a pretty fair handle on one, I'd be willing to bet on the other.

Well, up to about 3:14 or so. Then I'm not sure what he's playing, but it's not the Etude in A Minor. I think he strung 2 etudes together.
Make that about 1:42 or so.

So cool. I love it! I love classical guitar. I have someone playing Bach on guitar, and I love it.
Is he improvising at the end, maybe?
