Chaperoning Again
April 24, 2009
Okay, I'm back. I was chaperoning my youngest son's 5th Grade Camp. They left Wednesday and spent until noon today at a camp about 70 miles away. They did the high ropes and a campfire and shelter building and rock climbing wall and made S'Mores and I came yesterday at noon and stayed overnight until noon today. So I'm tired. The photo is my Sean, building his outdoor shelter.
Cheers,
Mark

VERy handsome guy! Where'd he inherit the white blond hair from?
The mailman.
Ba-ZING! Nice one, Mark.
Thanks for sharing the photo. I love me some camping. The son and I will do a little of that when he's a bit older.
That's great.
No, no. Nt the mailman thing.
One of the perks of working for oneself -- setting your own schedule.

That's OK. My children's father is Hispanic and I have one with blue eyes and freckles. She is very "sad" she doesn't look Hispanic . . . My mom calls her "my little Irisher." ;-)

In truth, Erica, I had pretty light hair when I was a kid. What's funny is that my nephew--my sister's son--who is now married with a baby, looked exactly like Sean when he was about the same age. At one point I was staring at a picture of Tim on my sister's refrigerator and I was trying to figure out when Sean had been wearing a gray tuxedo and my sister said, "That was Tim at YOUR wedding."
Eric,
The flexibility, as far as I can tell, is THE perk.
