Playing With My Computer

November 23, 2007
Yes, the iMac has a built-in digital camera and software to screw around with. And so I did. I also figured out how to get it up here on the blog.

Be afraid.

Be very afraid.

Cheers,
Mark Terry

I think you should print that picture and send it out as your Holiday-Christmas card.

Anonymous,
That would probably set the tone, that's for sure.

Cool. I'm still stuck in no frills Windows XP mode, but considering how screwy Vista seems, that's not a bad thing.

If only I weren't a college student, I'd be a Mac-user all the way. Mac users have more fun!

The iMac, at least, is loaded with a lot of cool things, which don't strike me as being all that important for business users, but might be very good for home users. I was fooling around with Garage Band the other day, which comes as part of the iMac (it might be part of the Leopard OS-X operating system) and that's pretty cool. You can actually make your own recordings and mix the sounds, etc.

Somewhere we have a picture of Peter making that same face at Tim. Missed you all at Thanksgiving! See you soon.

Awesome. I have the older iMac (first edition on the new model?) that does NOT have a camera.

Jealous.
